ROLE
As a Research Manager at Outward Intelligence, you'll be the connective tissue between our research platform and the clients who depend on it. You'll own the full lifecycle of client research projects—from designing and programming surveys to training users, troubleshooting issues, and surfacing insights that help clients get more from their data.
This isn't a passive support role. You'll be a strategic partner to our clients, proactively identifying opportunities for deeper analysis, flagging research questions they haven't thought to ask, and helping them turn raw data into actionable intelligence. Internally, you'll serve as the voice of the customer—translating client feedback into product improvements and ensuring our platform evolves to meet real-world needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Research Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients achieve success with Outward Intelligence’s research platform. Your primary responsibilities will include:
● Survey Design & Programming: Designing and programming custom surveys tailored to client needs.
● Client Training & Support: Training clients on the platform, providing ongoing technical assistance, and guiding them on best practices in research methodology.
● Survey Updates & Enhancements: Assisting clients with updates and modifications to their surveys as needed.
● Proactive Insights & Recommendations: Offering strategic suggestions for analyses, research questions, and insights to help clients maximize the value of their data.
● Advocacy & Feedback Loop: Acting as the voice of the customer for internal teams, sharing client feedback, pain points, and opportunities with product and engineering.
● Client Retention & Growth:Enhancing client satisfaction and increasing contract value by offering value-added services and support.
Your role will be instrumental in driving client success, ensuring they fully leverage our platform, and fostering long-term relationships.
